Reer Aw Xassan, from what I have heard, are a clan that are often linked with the Sheekhal but claim to have a separate ancestry. In Hiiraan, they were part of the Shanta Culumood (Sheekhal, Udeejen, Reer Aw Xassan, Faqi Maxamed (Surre) and Faqi Cumar (Surre). They mainly reside in Ethiopia today.

Sheekhal have one seat and Reer Aw Xassan have another seat.
