Ilaahayoow Cawke Janadii ka waraabi...Waa marxuum and I am not gonna lie but i met Cawke when I was 8 or 9 years old circa 1986 or 87 in Ex Xaruntii Telefishinka Qaranka. The national TV Center was near Studio Muqdisho on the side of Yaaqshid, I think. Once a week there was a quiz on the TV and our principal at the time helped us find the answer for the weekly quiz. Three of us took the letter that contained the answer to the National TV Center. At the front office we asked that we wanted to see Cawke. Surprisingly he came down. Imagine how polite and respectful Cawke has to be to come few stairs to meet third graders wearing their green and white uniforms. Walaahey I am not lying he shook each one of us's hand and said "Adeerayaal miyaad kasoo jawaabteen su'aashii". Tall guy with big and well-maintained Afro is all I remember. When everyone says he was a respectful man, i just remember Cawke that day. Compare that when I went to the office of my uncle who was a vice minister at the time. They told him your little nephew wanted to see you. He told them "Wasakha usheega inuu kunoqdo schoolkii. Muxuu soo doonay". Shit, I just wanted to see my uncle. Now compare those two incidents. Still remember that after decades.
