Only once. I went out on a date with this cambaro I met at a conference. She was my type: young, naive, and Westernized. I am not an inquisitive person because I never ask questions because I don't want to be questioned myself. We went out to the museum and then dinner. Somehow the conversation landed on the topic I dread the most - Who do you know in town? This question is like your phone's GPS except it is to identify you, your clan or relations. I told her that I had no family except my uncle in Delaware. She told me her family and that she had a Habaryar in VA. She then dropped her name.

My world froze.

It couldn't hit me harder because her Habaryar and I had a very bad falling out back in the late 90s. I got bit and every man remembers the one or two crazy women he dates.

I couldn't wait for the night to end and I never got in contact again.

Aint nothin awkward. It all depends on where i picked up the girl tho. If a roadside thing then nah nothin awkward. If u a good girl then maybe.

Awkward, fear etc. are all manifestations of insecurities deep within you, consciously or unconsciously you feel that your not good enough for the person, hence "especially when their good looking" rationalization. You need some deep soul searching and mentoring to get over these lapses, its not easy.

I'm a professional sometimes I think my first date goes way too well and I could never top it, I think only one date went wrong for me but I sabotage it myself I wasn't really into her so I had to act rude to get rid of her.
