Somaliland is not isolated, we have good relationship with the rest of the world better than Somalia. We are economically a head of Somalia , I don't know what prosperity you are talking about when our government budget is bigger than Mogadishu and all other Somalia administrations budgets combined. We have better Universities, better Army, better health system, better wealth, better Export rate, better law and order, better citizens..... it goes on and on. There is no one single sector somalia is ahead of us. you have the recognition and you are in a worse situation than we are.
lets forget about whole somalia just mogadishu city state
mogadishu generates more $$$ than whole of Sl .
Mogadishu university alone eclipses all your educational facilities
healthcare-laughable,you cant find decent teeth dental doctor in hargeysa if my life depended on it.
better army or ragtag milita that couldnt defeat innocent khatumo civilians.

citizens-khat induced docileness is not citizenship.

Horta your the only Isaaq I seen in this section who is not a brainless troll, the rest bring absolute shame to tolka, fudeedka is sometimes unbelievable, regarding budget, it's meaningless sxb there is no proper taxation system outside of Mogadishu, I have been to Hargaysa 4x times, one of those times I spent almost 6 months there during Ethiopian invasion when I took my parents from Mogadishu to Hargaisa, I stayed in a hotel for a few weeks, then rented a place for them, I couldn't believe how cheap it was and how cheap land was, this is an indication of the wealth in the place, I was paying $400 for rent in Xamar and only $150 Hargaisa in the best safest place
The lands in Xamar go into the millions just complete lunacy due to the demand (3.5million population), and just a few thousands in Hargaysa, in fact I was so tempted to buy and build there because of the cheapness, but due to difficulty and cunsurinimo living there, parents didn't want it, even the few syrians complain, gobanimo wa lo dasha sxb, hawiye are the only people you can live with without being asked about qabiil or hassled.
let's debate in civilised way. if Somaliland is performing better than Somalia in all the sectors I mentioned. the So called ictiraaf or recognition you have is useless. Every body knows Mogadishu Bosaso and kismayo ports and Airports are all functioning and you take much foreign aid than we get, But all three administrations combined have less or roughly the same budget of Somaliland. The sad reality is there is no proper taxation in Somaliland as well. most revenues comes from berbera port, hargeisa airport and wajaale custom.
Land value depends on its location every where you go. Hargeisa city centre is as expensive as any other capital. Which area did you wanted to buy the land in Hargeisa? our indication of wealth is that top 5 Somali millionaires are based in Somaliland despite the challenges, you can make it top 10 if you like its the same.

we dont live in hargeysa,the ones who came have $$$ to take airplane for its sake.cant say the same about you guys though,we need special law for sl who flood mogadishu streets looking for jobs since siilanyo failed to generate jobs,80 of the population is job,no wonder siilanyo found an idea to entertain these khat addicts with ictiraaf while he pockets the money and sends it through offshore bank,it is getting worse,your people dont have water to even use bathroom,let alone drink.i dont blame siilanyo he is smart
