Like most Somali parents, my parents don't physically show affection towards each other, but I know they love each other dearly. My ex was Somali and we were very romantic with each other. We went on romantic dates, cuddled, kissed - we were openly affectionate with each other. We deeply loved each other. The young Somali couples are very romantic. We kiss in front of our kids too, there too young to understand anyway but as they get older a peck on the mouth is more appropriate I think.

I agree 100%. Good for you guys A lot of the problems that face Somali teens today is because of them not growing up in a household filled with love.
