Bv.Both Kenya and Canada are home because it is were i spent almost half my life at each and have ties with them.I feel right at home in both.Tbh,i think i would feel that way anywhere else i felt comfortable and safe.It doesnt take much for me to say meh
The fault in me
Maybe it is difference on how we were raised and ancestral ties we have with Somalia.Qabiil means very little to me.Always did.I wish i had better way pf explaining this but maybe this would change if i mastered how to adult and worry about things like these.
It is great to be humble, appreciate where we come from and but i honestly dont still seem the romance in it.
I am glad i am in the minority.Great we have people who care and are planning to make Somalia their heart and home.

Instead of worrying about how long we stay in the west, we should concentrate on how we can help Somalia to stand on its feet. The problem with many Somalis is, we're all waiting for when it stabilizes. We'll then consider moving back. Reality is, unless each one of us do his (or her) part, we should not entertain the idea of when are we moving back.
After seeing the Somalia saga going for close to 3 decades, I really find out what I think the solution is. It is a personal one. If you personally do what can help that country and its long-suffering population, if you refrain from getting yourself involved in any negativity that can hinder the stability of Somalia, you've done your part. Let us hope we can do that.

There is absolutely no fault in what you've said. Though I have to say that ancestry is a beautiful word when said in English we've just dirtied the Somali equivalent with politics.Tuushi wrote:Bv.Both Kenya and Canada are home because it is were i spent almost half my life at each and have ties with them.I feel right at home in both.Tbh,i think i would feel that way anywhere else i felt comfortable and safe.It doesnt take much for me to say mehThe fault in me

You will always be the healthier between us since I get worked up over ideals much more quickly

When I get there InshaAllah, ii soo duceey, then perhaps I should find away to show the romance of sharing that piece of earth with the essence of your ancestors from a century ago.
