Somalia/Somaliland spends hundreds of Million Dollars each year to import khaat, while many of their citizens suffer from hunger, droughts and severe poverty. This evil khaat addiction has also destroyed countless of families.

For business to make money and the irony is most of the Somalis in Turkey are students. They should send more poorer females because if you educate one of them, you educate a whole family/village. Most of the students come from well established families by Somali standard. They could afford to spend their student pocket money paid by the Turks on khaat.

Ina Adeer, the Turkish government are tough on drugs with a zero tolerance towards drug smugglers. Neither the President, Prime minister or the whole parliament could sway the Turkish government to issue an amnesty to her. They have to respect the laws of other countries and especially one that has become the embilical cord of rebuilding Somalia.
