That is a Banaadiri "saying". I think it means "weakness is not a virtue" / "if you are weak, your weakness will be a prelude/impetus to victimise you" ; another way of saying " don't be naive/weakling because your weakness is a liability".

The opposite ; " fuley hooyadii ma gablanto " " the mother of a coward will not be childless"
