Togdheer,

I never saw or heard of HJ in Hawd but probably in eastern and southern Gashaamo.

CG does go beyond Aware to the south even past Nusdariq but those are nomads who long inter-married with Ogadens.

Where there is smoke there is fire---meaning where there is CG there is Arab and Isaxaaq.

In Hawd HY is largest followed by CD then Arab then not sure who is next HJ or Cise Muse. Yes indeed CM live with us and are beloved brothers.

SM is more in the north in Wajaale and Harshin.

They don't live in the real Hawd and real Hawd begins south of Labisagal.

Aware is just major CG degmo. Even our Goseyga comes under it. The governor of that area is my cousin called Mustafa Cawaar.

Even Dekada is not on the map.

togdheer are you joking right? you gonna compete HJ versus Ciidagale who is most southward? nicca we went to Hiiraan a hundred years ago and came back. Ciidagale today stretches from west of Jerer valley to south of Bulaale in the middle of our hawd territory, if honestly believe awaare is our stopping point you're in for an awakening, we are eyeing sheekosh today. I definately believe there is more Arap in Hawd then HJ to be honest, that map you showed is a small section of the hawd, HJ is lumped between HY and Dhulos.

but I'm actually impressed HJ settles so far south :leon: from Sanaag to Bali Haleelo is great

Among Isaaq in Ethiopia, I think SM is the largest in population followed by HY and then CG. HJ is quite small there, even Arab might be larger. CM is the smallest living with the HY.

HY and CG respectively occupy largest territories in Kilil5

We would certainly love our HJ brothers to keep expanding towards South, together with Garxajis and Arab, we could again reach Ribadle, Hiiraan.

My favorite place I visited was Labi/Lebi. It is southwest of Dhagaxbuur.

I went with my abti who lives with his Yonis/CG inlaws.

The place has huge dooxo and dense jungle, which people used to cut the bakorad/walking stick. Waxa aad oga baxa lebida and it is the lebi that they used to make bakorad.

Just north of it about 50km there is huge savanna and during dry season it is so white that you can see from miles.

I forgot their names and next to it there are three mountain landmarks.

I believe the moutains were called dub-dheer but can't be certain as I forgot the names.

Just south of this savanna Isaaq, Gadsan and OG clashed especially WSLF who often kidnapped Isaaq nomads but later on the Isaaq developed their own 24/7 sdcurity where each family were provided with 10 or so men who took turns in a set up primeter.

I used to observe a lot as a kid.

During wet seasons there were hardly any clashes except nomadic singers who sometimes used to take arms after poetic karbaash.

I remember there was this Isaaq poetic guy who was much feared for his karbaash.

The OGs killed him and the ppl used to say he predicted his own death.

I remember just one line

Afku wu ii hurhuraya
Ana wan hor joga

He was like Hurre Walanwal. I know they have a name and again can't remember.

So my niggz CG is deep. I have been deep but not even their frontline.
