It's all politics. Egypt blocks Somaliland because it believes Somalia to be the better alternative. Now, considering that Somalia has been a total disaster for the past 25 years and Egypt's material support for it has been negligible, what diplomatic moves have the Somalis been making to sustain this "moral" support by the Arab league? What has Somaliland been doing all along? Remember, in politics, positions change and interests vary. Or else, Xersi will still have a strong say in the Kulmiye government, the USA won't sign a nuclear deal with Iran and Sudan would never have allowed South Sudan to exist.
