Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia don't need big armies and air forces. That song is very sad in retrospect when you realize how much money and life was wasted in that war. We have millions starving and some of the lowest HDI in the world. Still, our leadership spent billions on Russian military hardware and advisors to kill our brothers across lines on a map. We have had some of the largest standing armies in the world and fought the largest land war in African history. Why? Stupidity.
