70% of male Somalis Y-DNA can be linked to southern Egypt/Northern Sudan. Yes, in a sense, Somalis are ethnically related to ancient Egypt/Sudan.

As for pharaohs, well, King Tut was R1b1a2; Ramses III Y-DNA was E-V38. There is no clear cut monolithic Y chromosomal lineage among the pharaohs of ancient Egypt.

Afrocentrics are equally dangerous like the Eurocentrics..Why put us into their quarrel? Pride is something we don't lack and I never met a Somali who takes pride in Pharaoh just to boost his confidence...Never in my life.
