Planning to learn Spanish, Russian and Dutch.
Just because you speak english most fluently doesn't make it your first language :snoop:
My Somali was non-existent until I went on holiday to Burco 4 years ago. I only spoke English back then.
Sxb a 1st language is your native language, mother language, the language you were taught as a baby aka hooyo dheh aabo dheh.

My somali was non-existent untill I moved to london. What a 3rd world city this place is.

@thehappyone,
Sorry couldn't continue our thread, to
Many quotations embedded and bla bla

anyways

listen to this, last year i attended a summit about death penalty and abolishment..

So you have this headset in front of your seat that translates the current speaker to the language of your choice, and the option where French, Spanish, and English. So that gives you an idea of how those languages are considered the "international languages"

which language is that?? and are you really an cadaan guy?
I'm Somali. I don't feel like revealing the language.

Why are continental european languages considered not worth mentioning amongst somalis.
Don't know about others but I didn't mention it because I don't want to be identified.

Honestly, ever since I started using this forum, I actively tried to hide my identity because there are some scary people on here you know. I've relaxed slightly ever since then because everyone on here is too busy flinging their qabil mud at each other. Even that one guy I'm almost certain I know IRL is not bothering to connect the dots.

For your information, less than 20 Somalis who can speak the obscure language fluently or near fluently exist in entire world.

So, yeah paranoia is justified in this case.
