Sorry to just jump in but you don't need to fast so why are you doing it? I strongly advice you not to fast and compensate once you had your baby inshallah, illahay ayaa kaa fasaxay so why would you put yourself and your baby at risk?

Please abaayo, don't trust these Doctors and research, there is a reason Allah u fasaxay pregnant women, trust that he knows what is best for you. Please.
And also, are pregnant women even allowed to fast? As I known that people with people with certain illnesses are not obliged either. My grandmother and another relative are diabetics and an uluma told them they shouldn't fast because their lives could be at risk.
I don't mind you adding to the discussion & thanks for your concern abaayo. Tbh, I've given it a lot of thought & genuinely think it's the right course of action for me.

Ill leave the Islamic questions to those more learned but this may helpful.

This is basically saying pregnant women must fast unless they have other advice from a medical*shocked*

If what you linked is correct, then why do so many women ( myself included) believe they are automatically free from
Fasting? I have never in my family or relatives seen a pregnant woman fast..?

Is this a huge missunderstanding then? that fasting is wajib unless adviced otherwise by a doctor?

Again... *shocked*
