You have to place things within a broader historical context. If you knew European history then you would know that the last 70 years of peace on the European continent is an anomaly. However 70 years is a blip in the larger story and more of often than not they have tended towards violence between themselves and others. What you guys are attempting to do is extrapolate the recent peace in Europe as evidence of innate peacefulness compared with ''violent'' Muslims.

Sorry buddy but this has nothing to do with history. There are Muslims living today who think it's perfectly A-OK to kill innocent people, including fellow Muslims, in the name of their religion. And they get their blood thirsty cues from the larger Islamic community and religious figureheads who have embraced the use violence as legitimate means of furthering Islam. Is it any surprise, then, when some Muslims carry out violent acts? When hate and violence is accepted by large segments of society then violent behavior is the natural end result.
