Re: Did Somalis control parts of Arabia?
Well since Somalis who were in the djibouti and somaliland region were apart of the Aksumite empire, yes, you could say Somalis did control parts of Arabia or atleast contributed to the Aksumites reign in yemen.

Djibouti was never part of any Habashi empire, certainly not Axum.

Kindly notice on the map that the inhabitants of Aksum were Agew and Falasha. The Queen at one point was actually Jewish, and this group were probably the origin of the Yibir. Remember "Caro"/" Welo"?

The Empire of Aksum at its height extended across portions of present-day Eritrea, northern Ethiopia, Yemen, southern Saudi Arabia, northern Djibouti, and northern Sudan.Jabuutawi wrote:Djibouti was never part of any Habashi empire, certainly not Axum.

Re: Did Somalis control parts of Arabia?
Adal was in the year 1300s+ when everyone had their own mini kingdoms in the region while Aksumite was dissolved around the 900-1000s by the Beja revolt. Aksume and pre-Islam was 700 years before where no one but them, Romans and Persian empires were around so it's safe to say that it was part of it since it's well documented by Arab historians and Islamic scholars.Jabuutawi wrote:Djibouti was never part of any Habashi empire, certainly not Axum.
Worth noticing that all those kingdoms were created after Aksume collapsed so its kinda obvious who ruled the region before them laakin somalis are too ashamed to say it because of their bitter hate with ethiopian highlanders today smh..
