They need to be addressed and honestly I would ban toy guns especially when places like Xamar see deadly bombings.

The kids will idolise such culture and think it's just matter of upgrading the eid toy gun to real one.

All parents need to buy appropriate toys such as cars, trucks, planes.

Glorifying guns in a violent society is wrong.

Warsheekh,

It could be but more kids have toy guns in Xamar than any where else.

Also you have to remember where LS got them from---Bakaaraha.

Neither is buying kids little compasses and maps to assist them in tahriibing.

Denial is a coping mechanism that gives you time to adjust to distressing situations — but staying in denial can interfere with treatment or your ability to tackle challenges.

Just recently I stopped over some place to send some money and a Wooqoyi women was sending over EID money, she was only doing so (as she explained to the man) because her whole family threatened Tahriib otherwise.

I told her it's all bluff as they don't have the money, to which she responded for the smugglers its a "go now pay later policy after providing proof of family abroad and collateral", this is the dire situation these people live in and they have the nerve to talk about others.

You do not see this kind of disgusting behaviour in epic proportion anywhere else in Somalia, it's like the great Wilder Beast migration, 26 years and still going out into the sea, while I have tonne of family moving back to Xamar/Gaalkacayo from Europe opposite direction.
