The Somalis need manpower with technical skills badly. Somalia needs at least 30 million ppl. Thesw ppl should be welcome...they r the closest ppl we have and we have a lot of empty land with little to no production.

They should however be at least screened for HIV which is highly prevalent in Ethiopia. This is specifically to punt land and somaliland were the Oromo go to in large numbers.

Oromos are welcome

I was reading that owners are encouraging them to come and work for them because somalis won't work in a job where they look down on.

Kinda like Indians where IT firms hire them over qualified Westerners because Indians are willing to work over hours and get low pay.

This is false information which was debunked decades ago.. There were never any Oromos in our lands. We probably made that up because we were ashamed of our pagan past.

In fact, it was Oromos who were the aggressors and even managed to assimilate certain Somali tribes on northern Kenya. Look at how they expanded throughout Ethiopia and forcibly assimilated other ethnic groups, including habashis?? This is the reason why habashis hate them.

what i noticed and making confuse is; we expect others to respect and welcome us but we want to have somalia for only somalis!! as nomad myself who has no place to call home, i do not care qofki somalia e daba mara cause i dont want to live there by my choice.

Lets welcome people illegally to our country. Who we don't have mechanism or systems to accommodate or integrate. It doesnt matter if they become homeless, parentless and street dvellers or suffer in the process.

We have no jobs, no housing for them but it does not matter. Acting faux compassionate comes before that.

Somalia/Somaliland is a rich 1st world country with 1% uneployment rate and zero internal conflict, fully developed and equipped.

Everyone is welcome, we need to show how progressive and tolerant we are by subordinating our interests & act delusionally emphatetic.
