Densely populated city. It's been lagging behind other cities for decades and is experiencing a boom at the moment.

This is pure BS. There's no "Hawiye work culture". You can't attribute the recent development in Xamar to some magical "work culture". Where was this work culture during the past 25 years when Xamar was lagging behind every other major city in Somalia?

99.99% of all developments in Mogadishu are done by Hawiye locals and diaspora.
