I hope this project helps to bring up the standard of roads in SL. They are going to need design standards, proper road drainage, sidewalks and streetscaping. The potential of Hargeisa is seriously limited when you have buildings and houses encroaching onto the public Boulevard and narrowing the roads. The somcable building for example eats into the public right of way and as a result there is no room for a sidewalk in front on their building. Pedestrians are forced to walk with the cars on the road in front of this newly built building. City hall has a long way to go but this is a step in the right direction.
