Yes and believing comes in many different forms. There are lots of people who believe deeply, truly believe in God, or a greater power. There are people who carry out good deeds. But not all of these people necessarily know anything about Islam. We do not know what is in their heart.

. [17:15]

You're right in someway, but there are different when someone found out the truth and still didn't believe or not wanting to admit it and say shahada for example, and other person who do not get a chance to know the truth 'islam' in now a days. Somebody who lives in far a way from muslim people and have no contact to them do not have enough sources such as books, internet etc. And all what he knew about islam is bad things people says about it.

If you read about what culama of ahlu sunna wal jamacah said, you wouldn't ask such questions and talk like that.

Ps, if being good person is enough to go jannah, why you don't be a good atheist person and see if you go jannah or jahannam?!

I have nothing against somali atheist or somali gaalo in. I don't understand it why whenever somali foolxun leaves islam the very first thing he talk about is islam and his people somalis!!

i just want them to stay away and leave our religion alone. If you want to go jahannam or allah has made you to go jahannam, we can do nothing about it.

Does being not honest with others make someone honest?!

To me no way you can be honest yet there are things which wavers in your soul and which you dislike people finding out about.

In 40 hadith Al Nawawi, Wabisa bin Mabad, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

I came to the messenger of Allah and he said: " You have come to ask about righteousness ? " . I said:" Yes." He said: "Consult your heart. Righteousness is that about which the soul feels tranquil and the heart feels tranquil, and wrongdoing is that which wavers in the soul and moves to and from in the breast even though people again and again have given you their legal opinion [in its favor]."

Unless you have no parents, wife/husband, kids...etc it is not your solely decision. According to Islam your marriage won't be valid. Your kids should also know so they can decide to stay with / leave you ... etc.

I don't know how you dare to face Allah, who created you and provided you everything with its sustenance, and say I don't believe on you but you don't have the guts to face your parents who begat you!

Many of you will come here and seek the counsel of fellow Snetters, who most likely are clueless, whenever you want to relocate to other cities/countries but when it comes critical matter such as denouncing ones religion you don't even bother to counsel with fellow sheikh. Allah said: " فاسألوا أهل الذكر إن كنتم لا تعلمون" ..So ask the people of the message if you do not know. We all have the right to ask but you have no excuse not to know.

Unless the OD is an atheist or non believer, I don't understand the purpose of posting this video.

I believe every Muslim know the answer of the above question. Abu Hurayrah (radhi allahu anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alaihi wa-sallam) said, what translated means, “By Whom the soul of Muhammad is in His Hand! No member of this nation, no Jew or Christian, hears of me and does not believe in what I was sent with, but he will be of the people of the Fire.” [Saheeh Muslim].

The man on the video quoted the Ayah out of its context. To understand the meaning of the Ayah he quoted you need to know the story behind it.

Imam Ahmad recorded that Mujahid said,
"I saw Ibn Abbas and said to him,
`O Abu Abbas! I was with Ibn Umar, and he read this Ayah and cried.'
He asked, `Which Ayah?'
(And whether you disclose what is in yourselves or conceal it).
Ibn Abbas said, `When this Ayah was revealed, it was very hard on the Companions of the Messenger of Allah and worried them tremendously. They said: O Messenger of Allah! We know that we would be punished according to our statements and our actions, but as for what occurs in our hearts, we do not control what is in them.'
The Messenger of Allah said,
Say, `We hear and we obey.'
They said, `We hear and we obey.'
Thereafter, this Ayah abrogated the previous Ayah, (The Messenger believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in Allah), until, (Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned). (2:285-286)
Therefore, they were pardoned what happens in their hearts, and were held accountable only for their actions.'''
The Group recorded that Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of Allah said,
Allah has pardoned my Ummah for what they say to themselves, as long as they do not utter it or act on it.
The Two Sahihs recorded that Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of Allah said,
Allah said (to His angels),
"If My servant intends to commit an evil deed, do not record it as such for him, and if he commits it, write it for him as one evil deed. If he intends to perform a good deed, but did not perform it, then write it for him as one good deed, and if he performs it, write it for him as ten good deeds.''

Believing in Islam means: Believing in Allah, the Day of Resurrection, the Angels, the Prophets, the Books, and the Qadr (What do you call it in English?)

Lol you just shot yourself in the foot

Anyway, if a person is muslim all sins, no matter how much, can be forgiven. But the one sin that Allah never forgives is Shirk

This guy used to argue with atheists on the side of the Muslims less than a 6years ago.

But then again Allah guides whom he wills. In their place millions of kufar are flocking to islam...
