Sanaag is worthless backwater. It has No economic or strategic value.Just cause that's your primitive tribal homeland won't change the facts.
Infidel, it shows there are more Dhulos than HJ, even though Dhulos don't vote those results show HJ basically don't live in Erigavo. If we voted am sure we would of had at least another 4 members, so a total of 10 members. The warsangali would also at least have another 4 if they voted. So we would of got 15 members minimum.X.Playa wrote: Tue Jan 17, 2017 3:47 pmLoool how is equally repersented when isaaq have total 14 mps and you have half of that ? Daarood logic is strange and embarrassing.Sharmarke91 wrote: Tue Jan 17, 2017 3:07 pm Erigavo is a shared city! like it or not. The Harti & Isaaq clans are represented equally.
The Erigavo City council is composed of;
HY - 11 Members
HJ - 3 Members
Dhulos - 6 Members
Warsans - 1 Members
This is considering the Harti clans do not vote. If the Harti clans voted am sure there would be equal representation in the council.
We do equally share the city. The results of the elections conducted by Somaliland confirms it.X.Playa wrote: Wed Jan 18, 2017 12:26 am You are desperate your point was your daarood equally share the city with isaaq not how much h.j has compared to the Daaroods. Either way you cut it you have less power in ceerigaabo then a h.y sub sub sub clan so cease this sham of equal powers.
Sxb you are absolutely mad if you believe there are more Dhulbahante in Ceerigaabo than HJ. On one hand you are using the local council numbers to claim there are more DH in Ceerigaabo than HJ and with the same breath you use same local council numbers in the case of Laascanood to prove that they (the numbers) are inaccurate!Sharmarke91 wrote: Wed Jan 18, 2017 4:07 am
We do equally share the city. The results of the elections conducted by Somaliland confirms it.
In Las anod the local council is composed of:
Jamac Siyad 11
Bahrarsame 5
Qayaad 2
Fiqishini 1
Ugadhyahan 1
Barkad 1
anybody that knows a little about Las Anod would tell you this doesn't correspond to the clan make of the city. The reason why these results were produced is because the other clans didn't vote like Jamac Siyad. Both Ugadhyahan and Bahrarsame are more numerous in Las Anod than JS.
Therefore, using the same logic, either there more Harti in erigavo than isaaq or their equal.
You talk about a sub sub sub clan of HY, sxb the only Dhulbahnate clan that settles in the city is a 13 generation sub clan of Dhulbahante - Naleye Ahmed.
And the only reason why they have control is due to the support of the somaliland government they enjoy.
Then explain why Dhulbahante have 6 members and HJ have 3 sxb?! all am saying is you would think that since the vast majority of Dhulbahante and Warsengali didn't vote, HJ would have got way more members if they had any significant presence. In Las Anod were JS voted and the rest didn't hence why JS have 11 members in the city council. If it was a fair election with all the clans participating I don't think JS could get more than 5 sits. In the case of Erigavo HJ would have taken advantage of the other clans not voting and received way more than their fair share like HY and the JS in Las Anod.Ben Dover wrote: Wed Jan 18, 2017 1:43 pmSxb you are absolutely mad if you believe there are more Dhulbahante in Ceerigaabo than HJ. Even the British on their visit to Ceerigaabo early on in Somaliland's protectorate history noted that Ceerigaabo is an Isaaq town. With the closest Dhulbahante subclan living to the East of ceerigaabo and Isaaq surrounding the city on all sides.
Its a HY town with strong Biciide presence and some Dhulos. Warsangeli are a tiny number when compared to others. This is true now and it was true a hundred years ago, there was always more Dhulos in the area than Warsans.
