Gurey I lived in Xamar for a very breif period in the mid 80s. I lived in different places but I lived in If iyo Aakhiro for the longest period. Ma taqaan xaafada qabuuraha laga kor dhise?

My knowledge of xamar is very limited,
left when i was 3 years old.

My father found out that he was identified and photographed in an SNM meeting in london, so he had to forget about going back to his plush job
in the ministry of education.

Never went back since.

Gurey why are you going there to reclaim your old villa which is in rubbles.
Even i know why aideed overthrew siyad barre but why did aideed militia not agree and leave the beautyfull hamar in peace and elect a leader, who the people would be happy with, or elections be held which the people could vote, remember the darod left that city intact, it was about politics not destroying your own city. If the sna left hargiesa intact we would not have destroyed our city, even in the inter clan wars we had we did not destroy our cities.
