Somalis are so easy to divide and so hard to unite, but when we do manage to unite even just 50% of the somali people we can achieve greatness in a relative short time..
I have no hatred for Isaaq or even the existence of Somaliland, I do condemn the actions such as the arrest of Coldoon, and the marginalization of certain groups, but I hope we can all agree that the worst is behind us, it is history and we have to move on and make long lasting peace and prosperity.
Khalid and Mr Budha are entitled to their ideas, but spreading hatred is unacceptable, this type of bigotry should be outlawed in all Somali territories.

I wouldn't call 80,000 lives exaggeration. That's the number Farmaajo called accidental death. You finding excuses for his justification of war crimes doesn't carry much weight. The only thing that matter are those in somaliland who know what happened.

The term genocide has a strict international definition. The U.N and all international agency accept the Isaaq genocide. The Majeerteen case is not a genocide. Yes there were human right violation and massacares of civilian but that doesn't qualify as a genocide.

There is no exaggeration it has been consistent since 1989 when the bulk of killing ended 50,000. This is Africa watch , A.U and U.N estimate and every major expert including the international encyclopedia of genocide.

50,000 is a gross exaggeration to gain sympathy, it was nowhere near that figure, I estimate civilian collateral damage was closer to 5, 000. Many casualties in that figure include SNM rebels also.
Farmaajo is right, what did you expect the military when armed terrorists trying to topple the state hide behind civilian population like cowards? The civilians were given ample time to vacate and were even provided temporary shelter during the operation.
Those who remained were harbouring terrorists and made their deathbed. How do you think Putin flushed Chechen terrorists out of Grozny? Now look at it, under Putin its one of the most prosperous city in Russia.
