I think Bibs is a young guy who grew up in the west. It seems he is just bothered by another man raising his kids.

At least in the Somali culture, divorced women can easily get married and it is not a taboo. In some cultures, especially the South Asian one, once a woman is divorced, that is it, the chance that she will re-marry again is very small.
