Isaaq secured SL independence from Britain and Isaaq gave up Somaliland for the sake of Somali unity and these facts doesn't sit well with the minorities so they try to manipulated history. If Isaaq opposed the Act of Union on June 27, 1960 the mistake that has affected us until today would've been reversed without the minorities being able to do anything despite the 12 seats they got from Egal in the National Assembly.

Most Dhulos seats were secure hence, only 1 person on the ballot. we only contested seats other clans may take.

NUF was contesting in Isaaq areas, hence both SNL and NUF had to bring voters out, to win seats, The SNL defeated the NUF all but 1.
