Other than Abdishakur I don’t see where the govt has used force. And don’t bring up the Daljir claim of being detained than let go, and has yet to bring any proof of what happened. What other “politicians” rights or which laws are being trampled on?BVSNet wrote: Mon Feb 05, 2018 6:03 pmI'm giving warnings about a government that is trampling on laws, harassing politicians and acting like a bully in a country that has a history of dictatorship and a recent civil war.SultanOrder wrote: Is Habar Gidir preparing an insurrection? I'm saying that Farmaajo's government is risking alienating and fracturing Somalia in a way that is going to take us way back. The federal states have come together and named their own elected president (Gaas). Read what your own brother wrote, numerous attacks on civilians from a particular clan (Habar Gidir), arresting leaders of an opposition party (when that is actually the direction we need to go in to move away from 4.5).
It's hugely disappointing and scary.
The federal states doing a publicity stunt is Farmaajo fracturing Somalia? I don’t know whether you are serious or not. The federal states were paid by UAE to undermine Farmaajo’s neutral stance in the gulf rift. That has backfired, and the federal states have all stopped that charade. Gaas gave a great welcome to Farmaajo and Xaaf publicly recanted his stance of opposition. How many tines did Gaas break ties with HSM’s govt?
As for HG being targeted show me where? Few random unrelated incidents is not a policy.
This govt is way more popular than HSM’s govt at the same time in its term.
If you look for things to be disappointed or scared by you will always find it, and if you look for things to be hopeful by you will find them.
HSM’s first term lest you forget was marred by a Jubbaland crisis, a rift with Puntland, and not to mention the fight with his own Prime Minister.
