Ask any Somali nabadoon, caqil, ugaas, wadaad, walahi amhar is like a insult, this filtered down to all Somalis, I myself do not consider myself better than the next Somali, but once when some Somali woman confused me with Amhar, walahi I remember how I felt, it was like she called me midgaan, I cursed that woman in my heart, may allah forgive me, something about me do indeed look like habesha.Typhoon wrote: Wed May 02, 2018 3:01 pmkhalid idoor ba tahay 1988 ba hurdo ka so kacday, we marexaan have been dealing with these people for a 1000 year, we understand the nature of amhara.Khalid Ali wrote: Wed May 02, 2018 11:13 am Amhara are call themselves Ethiopians instead of amharas. you are sycophantic, you believe in the false grandeur of amhara historiography, which is noting but mythical construction.
amhara are like european peasantry, if you build a castle around them you can tax the peasant and keep them in perpetual serfdom.
amhara and isaaq have the same confederation structure, small elite and large hords of peasants.
historically somalis look down on amharas, infect to be called amxaar is big insult among noble somalis(gob)
i dont know were the isaaq got their fondness for amharas.
the tigrey culture and sense of peoplehood, amharas are a hord of mindless masses and they are very unclean people, properly the dirtiest set of people in horn of africa(notice how amharas always marry oromo woman and rarely marry their own)
how would the different somali clans/and or regions react to civil war in ethiopia?

If there is , Waaq forbids, civil war in ethiopia, Somali clans will fight to outdo the next somali clan and probably will gang up on Ogaadeen, who courtesy of our own Illey , made enemy of all neighbouring jin wa ins.
Brother Adali, u come around as some one with sane mind at least for somali standard; how come u cant consider Amhara and Midgan as your fellow human beings. I can undertsans if u say u have grudge against ethiopia , amahara etc etc ...but such full blown hatred is noy healthy.
Nationalism is loving your people not hating your neighbour/competitor/minority.

Its not so much hating Amhara, its about loving Cushetic people, self love and hating those who interfere in our affairs. Its a very simple mindset, not insane our outrageous at all, Amhara are not cushetic, they are not part our people, to us they are like the Kikuyu in Kenya who we Cushetic unfortantely ended up sharing a nation with, a nation we have very little say in, in Ethiopia its the same thing, Cushetic, whether they are Oromo, Canfar, Somali, Saho and all these groups come under Habesha be they Tigray of today or Amhara of yesterday.bareento wrote: Wed May 02, 2018 4:29 pm If there is , Waaq forbids, civil war in ethiopia, Somali clans will fight to outdo the next somali clan and probably will gang up on Ogaadeen, who courtesy of our own Illey , made enemy of all neighbouring jin wa ins.

I despise Waachist Kumbaya singing with people who are not even part of the Cushetic group.
Live and let live, I am not hateful towards neighbours, I just love Cushetic people more than foreigners.
As for Midgaan, this is our culture of superiority, its unfortunate, but in every society there is a hierarchy in the background, and its based on family groups, in England its based on families the higher class families who had the lower class of families as serfs, in Somali its similar, in India it was based on skin colour caste system, in Somalia its any group that is outside of our clan structure and is weak is considered lower, its unfortunate, but you know who is lower, foreigners, a midgaan is more valued than an Amhara, I only equated the two to make a point how we see amhara.

Amhara are the leaders of Ethiopia Abyssinia axum gurage are the bussines people tigray are strong young brother of amhara but they are laangaab. Amhara are the leaders of the habasha race in terms of culture strength and landmass. Oromo are soldiers and workers. Oromo will turn into a cat when the amahara priest comes with his cross And his royal clothing.
Midgaan darood and oromos are all related

khalid has no idea what he's talking about. he thinks this is still the 19th century when the amhara only had guns, while everybody else was disarmed. amhara already tried in 2005 to rule again, and the oromo told them ''over our 40 million dead bodies.'' and that was that.
in my clans area of wallaga, walahi bro, they were being chased like dogs. my people were beyond angry.
if he had the slightest knowledge of anything, he'd know that, the amhara can never rule again. it's impossible. they would be against oromos, somalis, afars, sidama, tigrayans even, and more, they'd get destroyed so quick that the world would be shocked.
