On one hand I don’t think the dual or non dual citizenship thing matters as far as corruption. Actually believe it or not most Somali politicians when they get money don’t want to live in in the West and would want to live in Nairobi, Dubai, etc you could go there with Somali nationalies. Somali crooked tuug politicians come in all shapes and sizes trust me.


That said where I GET IT is all these Somalis who come from qurbaha and take locals jobs whether aid agencies or gov. That honestly has to stop. My 2 cents: Madoobe should go but their needs to be an independent election committee over seeing the process.
Peaceful transfer of power is the best outcome for the locals so the poor thousands returning from Dadaab refugee camp do not flee again having had some semblance of normalcy and livelihood for the last few years.

I also think Farmaajo and Khayre should not be re-elected and all dual citizens be banned from running for high office positions unless they relinquish their foreign citizenship. They have failed the people of Xamar.
