On one hand I don’t think the dual or non dual citizenship thing matters as far as corruption. Actually believe it or not most Somali politicians when they get money don’t want to live in in the West and would want to live in Nairobi, Dubai, etc you could go there with Somali nationalies. Somali crooked tuug politicians come in all shapes and sizes trust me.
That said where I GET IT is all these Somalis who come from qurbaha and take locals jobs whether aid agencies or gov. That honestly has to stop. The miskiin locals who graduate from Somali universities should be given a shot at these jobs. You graduated from University in the West find a job THERE with your degree and give Somali graduates a break.

My 2 cents: Madoobe should go but their needs to be an independent election committee over seeing the process.
Peaceful transfer of power is the best outcome for the locals so the poor thousands returning from Dadaab refugee camp do not flee again having had some semblance of normalcy and livelihood for the last few years.
I also think Farmaajo and Khayre should not be re-elected and all dual citizens be banned from running for high office positions unless they relinquish their foreign citizenship. They have failed the people of Xamar.

Failmaajo and madoobe will not talk and if they talk the talks will be fruitless and end In nothing failmaajo is a centralist figure and not a federalist. Besides madoobe is on the other side of the geopolitics. There won't be any room for talks

Madoobe will go but Marehan has minimal chance to claim Jubaland presidency as long as Farmajo is the president of Somalia .

Only Marexaan or Ogaden can rule Jubaland and maintain the peace, lets not engage in a race to the bottom by involving others, we are already fed up with Kikuyu involvement, and the Sujus ! a local leader with strong connections to the stake holders but experienced in politics is essential, Jubaland needs an educated man who has nationalistic links with the SFG to secure contracts and ensure development.

This is why OGs and MXs need to reconcile because these yaryars will try to take away our state from us. I don't trust hawiye iyo Eelays. Jubbaland is a Daarood state. Nobody deny us this.

JL doesn’t belong to one clan ...... the best situation is for Gedo, Lower Juba and Middle Juba to each be separately governed directly by the central government
Break up all five separatist enclaves and return to the old 13 regions that existed before 1991

Come together and do what. Gedo will be added to bay and Bakool to create a super eelay state and the jubas will be added to lower shabelle for a super irir state. This will be done by the ballot box or by force. Kenya is not going to be an occupational force forever
