Only one General was the most feared by the Xabashi General Cabdirahman Caare who operated in the southern front. He took no prisoners and Mengistu did not want him to set up the USC training camps due to his history against the Ethiopian military.

Another notable HG Generals General Aftooje, a brilliant strategist.

Xildiid

What about the Issaq officers who led the offensive to crush the SSDF on behalf of MSB? Their ruthlessness and zeal to inflict damage on behalf of the regime was stuff of legend

Yes, General Xasan Yoonis Habane lead the counteroffensive against SSDF and Ethiopian forces after the SNA was overrun in Galdogob and Balanbale.

Among the troops lead by General Habane there were some Isaaq officers but only one is accused of all sorts of crimes and that is Col. Ibrahim Dhegaweyne.

So far no evidence has been presented by anyone but I wouldnt be surprised if he committed crimes because he was a notorious Mooryaan and Warlord in the early days of Somaliland. Btw, he's half Habar Gidir - Cayr

General Habane, Dhegaweyne and the rest defected to SNM in 1984.

Yes, may muj. General Habane RIP. He's the man that defeated and cleansed Faqash + Djibooty troops + NSF militia (Ciise + Gudabiirsi backed by Aptidoon of Djibooty) from SL - Djibooty border.

I met Dhegaweyne and his whole demeanor screams 'murderer'. Indha yar yar o cas cas ayuu kugu soo eegeya

Indeed, he killed alot of Faqash and criminal SNA soldiers.

I would like to know your opinion about Goldogob and Balambale in 1983.
Did SNA defeat Ethiopians and SSDF in 1982 Border War?

What is your opinion about 1982 Border War between Ethiopia and Somalia?

majority of isaaq dealt with logistics and there were the same as lieuenant generals, promoted by siyaad barre to appeas their tribal kin

the isaaq were like michael flynt, allot of noise but eventually betrayed their cause and country

majority of the isaaqs were 5th colume and russia and cuba knew this, due to their understanding of the coupe of 1961.

remember we worked closley with russia and cuba, we knew the plan b against us.

majority of the somali armed forces were ogadeen and raxanwayn
majority of the colonels that won that war came from every tribe.
every general that the iidoor mentioned were political appointee to appeas his clan

somali colonels were better trained then the generals.

thats when ssdf and ethiopia fell out due ethiopians putting their flag on that city and wanting to annex it.

ronal reagan warned the ethiopians and russians if they dont stop attacking somalia, he would give somalia offensive weapons and no cat will sleep in addis ababa instead he gave us defensive weapons and the next day plan full of weapons were dilivered from american base in digio garcia island.

there is a reason why majority of siad barre officials live in america virginia, ohio etc

alot of the current generals in america worked at some point in somalia, so is the cia top echelon.

believe me american saw our war aganist ethiopia a turning point along the afgan war because now russian allies could be defeated without american troops on the ground, that with low oil prices and arms race made the soviets give up in 1991 when they were depleting their resources.

What you're referring to is the welfare scheme of the big lipped beast Afweyne during the 1980's when he enrolled Cagdheer refugees into the military and promoted them quickly at the expense of Somali soldiers (mainly southerners) that did not defect.

I've already pesented evidence of Iidoor colonels like Col. Askar aka Lion of Godey and Col. Ali Hussein who liberated Qabridahare. You can add to that Col. Kosaar - liberated Wardheer.

Even current president of SL, His Excellency Muuse Biixi Cabdi, is a 1977/78 war hero.

Here's your own Faqash admitting that Isaaq soldiers and civilians took a lions share in that war unlike other Somalis.

The small battalion he lead as reinforcement was exclusively Isaaq and so was the 26th division before the creation of SNM.

Now go fuck yourself Dofaar Ismaciil parasite.

Who was the chief general of the Somali Army before 77:78? Was it not Gen Abdiazis Ali Barre, a reer siyaad Marexaan man? The Admiral of the Somali Navy an Ogadeen reer isaaq kan now the. Chairman of the ONLF. Even before the 80s, all the military positions were held by Darood men mainly Dhulabahante and Majerteen. General abdullahi Yusuf, Gen Khalif Isse Mudan, General bodeh(Naleeye Axmed engineered the first teknikos), Gen Hussein Hassan(Bah ararsame refused to bomb the SNM died in Kismayo), General Gaani, Gen Maslax( Barres son) Gen Caanood(Reer diini) all Darood men. The president at the time also a Darood man. 8-)

A few idoor foot soldiers but even the bulk of the army was Darood and Hawiye. The men who liberated those regions were mostly Ogadeen. Don’t show me articles created by your idoor websites, show me your sources.

He is not lying about the fact that Ogaden were recruited in mass as part of the military not that they were personnel or had anything to do with the military, it was a cover for welfare recipient so the government could hand feed the ogaden refugees without anyone asking questions.

Ask any Ogaden, I wont bait them out too much, but they would literally go to government offices and receive military salary without working for the military.
