This was a unanimous decision not only by Cagjar.
It was a response to a massacre of more than 13 innocent nomads by Afar paramilitary forces.

Having a significant Liyu presence in Sitti will be a deterrent to further aggression from nomads in the area
The federal military is mostly non Somali and is impartial

Cagjar won't last. Look at his use of language...1977 vs "aggression on Afar", how it will be interpreted in Addis.

Your dad must be Danakili because you are basically foaming at the mouth since yesterday about Mustafe Mahamud.

Your so called analysis of the situation lacks political gravitas. Cagjar won't go anywhere but stay as the president of the region and, if numerically and political heavyweight like Issa cast their ballot in 2020 for him, he is all but guaranteed a full term. Spoilers stay away.

You still do not see that awww rastale is a tigray boy, or at best, half tigray half something else (somali or amhara)?
who is supporting afar right now? tigrayans. they think somalis/oromos want to destabilize afar, and then tigray next.
look online and just see tplf cyber cadres insulting mustafa omer and the somali regional govt, the same way this tigrayan troll aw rastale is.
who is promoting the agenda of afar not being your enemy (which i agree, afar are muslim, issa are muslim, both should make peace and compromise): this tigray boy aw rastale!
it doesn't take a genius to see that his interests and agendas he promotes are directly in line with tplf's/tigrayan interests.
