The alleged affair Ilhan is having with the White dude resurfaced again. The woman whom the White dude is married to filed a deforce and in the deforce papers says Ilhan took my husband away. This has the potential to be on Fox News for weeks.

This story is gonna run and run.

She is a crazy one. May be she thrives on attention, negative or positive. Even if she is having an affair is this really the best time to do it? I will tell you she isn't doing any favors to the poor reputation Somalis already have all over the world.

I knew this emotionally unstable person was up to no good. First of all, she doesn't sound like she came here as child and what is worse, her Somali language command is not better at all. For a society that suffered so long, we don't pay attention to the details. We are driven by emotion and nepotism and that is the reason clueless people like this woman and Farmaajo came to power. Well, at least I can understand Ilhan sometimes when she is reading from written materials. Unfortunately, that is not the case with Mr. Farmaajo. You would think that being the first Somali or foreign-born African in the Congress, she would be well equipped in education, experience, perseverance, and more importantly self-respect. How can she do this? A mother with three children representing an entire community is all the sudden having an affair with her consultant? Why is she wearing the Hijab? This is really troubling because many young Somali hijab-wearing girls considered her their role model. People come to us, mostly the educated and liberals, and congratulate us for Ilhan’s success to her community. They don’t know that as her community, we are yet to see any meaningful proposals and projects that would have benefited her community. She is now putting her community in the spotlight again for all the wrong reasons. How many of you know that over half of the House of Representatives, and majority of the Senate are lawyers who know how the system works.
My sister forwarded me the very first Daily Mail article on this issue few weeks ago, and I got mad at her in reading or using a tabloid like that as a source.
Now the whole thing is in the open including divorce papers in court. Fuck that shit.

Her personal life is her own.....but I agree she prefers grandstanding to working for her community.

Allah ha usahlo miskiinta. She found a short path to fame and immediate audiences and now she can't get enough of it but I am afraid it may hastens her demise in politics.

She may last longer than you think.....her biggest supporters are leftists, white liberals and the lgbtq community.

She's definitely found her niche and can't get enough of it.

People who get w/ gaalo i don't get it. For me personal hygiene would be the biggest barrier to go for naag gaalo. I would have to literally school her on hygiene before pursuing a meaningful relationship.

This also sucks for her husband, me I’d be so enraged and humiliated I wouldn’t know what to do. He’s in the ultimate no win situation. Don’t support her he’s ‘jealous’ of his wife’s success and not supportive. Support her, people will say dhiig maqabo xiniyo ma qabo.
