Why do we not have our own Woreda in either Doollo or Qoraxeey ? what ever the fuck this is total disrespect, now we are friends with the Ethiopians and a new administration is formed in Somali region we should campaign for this, otherwise we should just secede from both Qoraxeey and Doollo zones and form our own zone.

Burgesole should be its capital as its in the center 8-)
You forgot the reer Garaad and reer Yusuf in Degmada Qabridahar
Besides Qabridahar where do Rer Garaad and Rer Yusuf live in the area ?

they pretty much all shit, I don't think there is even one school in any of them, but then again they have had zero funding and faced constant conflict since darwiish time, I would say out of the hundreds in the entire area, 5 stand out, Cilaanle, Dhuuban, Yamaarugle, Laasacanood, Ceeldibir.

Are they also divided clan wise? By that I mean every one of these places is settled by a specific sub clan? By the way is Culub within Mareexaan deegaan in Ethiopia? Looking at the map in the Guardian article below it looks pretty close if not within that region.

90% of the settlements in the map is Rer Dalal, I never heard of Culub but then again many settlements are missing hence why there is a campaign happening as we speak both Cagjar and Ethiopian authorities are involved to form more inclusive administration with better administrative blocks that reflects the regions inhabitants to avoid further clashes with Liyuu,as a result many Mareexaan in the outskirts who have moved to IDPs near Caabudwaaq have returned to places like Ceeldibir, Neefkuceshe, Laasacanood etc

I can tell you places like Qorof is majority wagardhac, Celi live in Yamaarugle, Galaadi and Uurmadag, Neefkuceshe is more Rer Cismaan

Uurmadag is also Celi

there are tons of Marehan settlements and very big population, the young ugaas is doing good job bringing more attention to these areas, right now there are talks with both the ethiopian federal government and Somali regional administration around recognition of our settlements, development and security, it couldn't come sooner and there are also many people moving back to their settlements, inshallah things are moving in the right direction.

The Ugaas has done a splendid job thus far. He's went to many of beesha's deegans in gobolada doolo iyo qoraxey with the goal of more representation and xasilooni in mind I'm sure. His recent meeting with MD Cagjar was mainly about that topic from what I heard.

The tall guy with White beard is from Columbus. I used to think he was reer Ugaas Shermaarke from Baardheere. I don't know what he is doing on Caabudwaaq business unless he is reer Shirwac and supporting the young reer Ugaas Shermaarke/rer Shirwac/reer Cali Xaabuun Ugaas of Sade Bari.

The older man in the blue and dark glasses is Cabdirisaaq Cawl (reer Dalal). I think he is reer Abdille Allamagan like reer Shiil (Farmaajo). Cawl has been defacto "Governor of Western Galgaduud/central Marehan since the civil war started. Some people never leave office and have to be forced out and then there are people like Cabdirisaaq Cawl, so beloved, so fair, so just, that everytime he "retires" Marehan get him out of retirement to come back whenever Caabudwaaq needs a unifier. His reer abti are Wagardhac so that covers the two biggest Sade bari clans who happen be rivals (reer Dalal and Wagardhac). I have never met a reer Mudug that doesn't get sentimental talking about that guy.

As for the young Cali Xaabuun Ugaas, I am beyond impressed. I have watched a number of situations and I have to say whoever was in charge of preparing him seems to have done a job beyond expectations. His command of the language, the articulate clear way he expresses himself, his thorough understanding of Xeer and dhaqan and the natural way it manifests from his conduct, his ability to draw in his subjects so he commands their attention, his ability to emotionally connect and transplant emotions (sales would pay a ton to learn the secret of this can be learned), and most of all his PROACTIVE, spirited, and committed desire to execute his responsibility much beyond what is required have honestly pleasantly surprised. His energy is fresh supply of blood. Was Taakooy in charge of preparing him? I thank Taakooy htw for his wonderful stewardship as caretaker Ugaas since the death of Ciise Ugaas.

The young Ali Xaabuun Ugaas will be a great resource to Marehan. He is young and became Ugaas much earlier than his peers. At some point his experience, connections, and influence will bear fruit when his peers are the generation in leadership and he is their most powerful.
