Isn’t that suppose to be the people’s house? All this will not matter once people can Vote for their representatives and if I had to place my bet, Benadir will lead the way and conduct the first elected representatives in Somalia.
Honestly mana fahmin aqalka sarre vs the people's house.
The Parliamentarian house represents the People/constituents (for Somalis its Qabiils), whereby the Senate aqalka sarre represents the States.

The 13 seats are the Elders seats kinda like House of Lords, Senators or Majlasu Sheiyuukh, its an VIP Club where only they accept new members into that Majlas.

Now the step for one to gain an Seat with the Senators, is that one must go through the Peoples house i.e the Parliamentarian house where they will send an Codsi from the Will of the People to the Senate house, and since that Codsi carries the weight of the Peoples voice the Senators will without any hesitant accept that codsi of a new members State Senators.

Abgaal it is your weakness to even have a discussion with HG regarding your own ancestral home land which is not even Mogadishu but the whole banaadir and envions.

There is a difference in giving clans representation but then there is also a difference in consolidating power in full which is your haq !!

the larger question is why now? Is it because there is a Jeberti President? How come HSM and SS were not pushed to make the decision to grant Benadir special status.

It seems that when we have a Hawiye President he is always shamed into denying his own their fair rights. A Jeberti President doesn’t even blink and eye and gives his own more than their fair share.

The answer is self explanatory, neither Sheikh Sharif and Hassan Sheik would have been seen as non-bias. Both men are Abgaal and that would have seemed to the rest of Somalia something else. What the vote today in Parliament proved though is that Somali people still have hope and see the injustice we are facing here. We can not carry the burden of the entire nation and yet have no way in that same nation.

MJ boy, are you playing the Maxamed Abshir double talk trying to instigate Hiiraab feuds? The problem is if Abgaal doesn’t share with HG neither will he share with you. Your Jeberti ass will be reminded of his place like the MX ugaas

Again that is an affliction that affects Hawiye leaders. The only exception was Sheik Ali Jimcaale who was unabashedly ProHawiye. HSM and SS could have pushed the initiative through and used the levers of government to make it happen. Now we are bargaining from a weak hand!

If Farmaajo squashes this, what will be done? Lots of empty threats have been made in the custom of my Jeberti abtiyaal who bark loudly with no bite which is very unHawiye. It’s time that our Mudulood brethren lead the charge and put the fear of God into Farmaajo. We HG will offer our duco and prayers now that Allah has blessed us with an abundance of culumo unlike 1991 when you had the culumo and we had the mooryaan.

Take charge!

Maxamed Abshir was a MJ former chief of police and an Alphabet Boy Agent who served in Ali Mahdis government where he egged Ali Mahdi to be more confrontational with Aideed. His audio of him communicating with the MSB forces approaching the city giving them updates was recorded and broadcasted in 1992. His sole mission was to
serve as a Jeberti asset mole in the Ali Mahdi government

Abdiwahabow

It’s 2020 and we can’t keep repeating the same mistake all over again. While we have been fighting the rest of the world has left us a 1000 years behind. Sheikh Ali Jimcaale was Pro Hawiye for a reason. His ways were relevant for that time but today is different. Hassan Sheikh and Sharif would have been seen as tribalist and this is coming from some one who point blank confronted both in a private setting. They both gave me the same answer. All this can be resolved if the rest of Somalis just listened to us over some Canbuulo iyo bun kar kareeso.

Don’t get emotional on me now Lol.
I don’t need to instigate feuds. Abgaal are the landlords of banaadir. HG ought to understand this not be reduced to making baseless threats and beg for over representation.

Regarding your historical gibberish. Maybe you should leave that to your buddy ingriis.
