grandpakhalif wrote: Fri May 21, 2021 12:33 am Qoor Qoor has won the hearts and minds of Reer Galmudug and is probably the most popular state leader to grace the political scene. I really like how him and Rooble defused the situation in Xamar and their peacemaking efforts. If PM Rooble successfully gets 17 September agreement signed and the election rolling I shall declare him the greatest PM ever. He has achieved more in 10 months than Khayre did in 3 years, it goes to show that strong oratory skills and fanfare means little to Somalis ACTION is what counts
The reality on the ground is that qabiil matter, people say Rooble waa maskiin humble person, yeah maybe thats true but his clan HG are known for being ruthless and that is why the Madasha Militia who encircled Mogadishu left, Rooble started with the HG Militia first and they agreed and left and than he went to abgaals and they too left, it was very simple had abgaal refused it would have been an dire consequence of HG VS Abgaal clash and they didnt wanted that so they left, had this been PM Kheyre he would have been chewed by both HG and Abgaal Militia sides.

Al Capone once quipped that "a kind word with a gun is more effective than just a kind word.", the Gun here for Rooble is HG Xoog!
Excuse me, why do you sound so naive all the time? Wallahi I am not insulting you, I am describing the "effect" you give off.

Everybodh's militia is "routhless."

That's irrelevant.

The whole POINT OF 4.5 power sharing formula is "YOU GO AND TALK SENSE INTO YOUR PEOPLE , THAT'S WHY YOU ARE HERE."

Did anybody come between Farmaajo and Janan?

Why did we send the Xawaadle Minister to Xuud and the Abgaal Minister to Abgaal?

Why does Farmaajo send the "foreign minister" to Gaalkacyo to talk to Cumar Maxmuud?

When Kheyre was PM, why was he constantly in every village in Galmudug partaking in thr process there but nobody sent Kheyre even once to get involved in Jubbaland and Southwest?

You are pointing as noteworthy stuff that is the norm, not the exception.

It is part of his role under 4.5 to be the key government person dealing with reconciliation issues concerning his clan.

Or do you not understand this is originally even how the system was designed?

And EVEN SO, something can INFORM the process (like tribalism) while not necessarily evem being the biggest informing aspect of the process.

Just because tribalism is a reality isn't as simple and static as you allude.

Somali politics at this stage is not PRIMARILY about tribalism. Tribalism is a factor to be manipulated AFTER set back on the primary objectives; power, money, greed, and yes real differences in IDEOLOGY.

Inshaalah after Rooble becomes president, this operation will start, Ogaden support Rooble much more than Sheikh Sharif.

But he must distance himself from the toxic waste in Villa Somalia.

His first action must be to kick out Ethiopia.
We Sacad already know that our Ogaden Brother will vote for us and we like-wise for them

I can already see Sacad President appeasing both sides, our last Sacad leader before Rooble was Xaaf GM President he was the First leader to have united Galmudug when he moved his government and Parliament to Dhusomareeb and created for those ahlu sunnah a special PM seat and 80 mps exclusively, just to appease the ceyrs and they did become happy and siatisfied until Xaaf clashed with farmaajo and all went downhill.

What that shows is Sacad's leadership ,we dont believe in Zero sum game where one wins and other loses because that will create and breed hate and long lasting cuqdad.

Jubaland is Bread basket blessed state that can easily be fixed with just dib-heshisishiin peace talks, both Ogadens and Marexan no matter how much political rivalry they hate each other they will always remain brothers, So Rooble will just offer a comprise, one gets the capital and the other the Presidency and both get equal amount of MPs and Minsiters and Veto over the others, and also Jubada Dhexe will be liberated at all cost ASAP, and as for Kenya they will leave on their accord once the ICJ rules its judgment, because Kenya unlike Ethiopia has no history of transgression those kikuye prefer economical interets over hostile ones any day.

Jubaland can easily suceed and become the richest state if only a little love is shared by Mx and Og siblings!

P,s. Returnmarixman walaal waxas waa ceeb, Og waa Tol and Halyeeys who fought for Somalis History who should be respected!
That sounds like good idea but will the kikuyus of Somalia (mx) accept this?

They won’t. They already have more than their rightful share of ministers and mps in jubbaland, and they believe a someone born in garbaharey owns kismayo while the one born 100km away in Afamadow is a foreigner.

If we dealt with them the same way hg dealt with them they would sit down quietly and shut up.

That is what happened when Sheikh Madobe karbashed their hero the one eyed bare hurale

The MPs and Senators of the Parliament of Somalia should deliberately choose a new HAG president but who isn't Abgaal. Hawiye and Mogadishu isn't only Abgaal after all

That's the way Mudane Lander, the election is for all, but I have a feeling Farmaajo lose his time and President Hassan ali will win because he has Gedo, SL, gl, pl, JL, and Hirshabelle support, president Hasan Ali

Senators and mps are 4.5 so why would they deliberately choose hawiye when 77 percent of those voting are not hawiye.

Plus they are voting for president of Somalia not president of mogadishu. Should only habar awal become president of somaliand since hargeysa is their deegaan?
