His main objective was to steal the election and there were two factors against that. One is TPLF, the other OLF ( whose war had been ongoing) but the west was silent about it. The vocal Oromo Nationalists like Jawar Mohamed and Bekele Gebra he imprisoned them.

Now, the sham election has happened there's no reason he continue the war when Ereterian troops are already withdrawing. Winning the majority seats now, waiting for his innaguration, and he's ready for a negotation with everyone. Same thing our own clown tries to duplicate but failed.

No doubt, TPLF will now be in a tough spot- if it takes the offensive, it will risk a more drawn out, war that will harm tigrayans more than benefit them- and also, risk losing even more territory [Eritrea took their disputed lands, Amhara took lands, and both are entrenched, watching events carefully]. and also, Abiy will not restore internet, communications, etc, let the tplf do that seeing as they're the govt- will be his response most likely. now tplf has to generate revenue, pay salaries of workers there, rebuild, etc, all on its own- and the roads to the outside world are all guarded by hostile forces on all sides-amhara, afar, eritrea, all hostile.

How is it that 4 million Tigray can take on Ethiopia and Eritrean combined might and still win but 30 million oromo is under Ethiopia’s boot? This is not an insult from me but rather a question. Does this inspire the oromo people? Are they going to learn from Tigray? What’s oromo public saying currently

Tigrayans were put through far worse things than we Oromo's, to be honest. They were targeting tigrayans everywhere and purging them, from the military to government institutions, and more. Plus, they already had a 250,000 strong para-military force, and tigray had been the most militarized region since the year 1999/2000. Not to mention that, they stood together as one, their police, their civilians, their militia members, everyone even the cats and dogs [lol]-while the oromo police are indifferent, or idle.
but the OLA army is getting stronger for sure. just recently they are starting new units in hararghe and arsi.

Ever since Abye came to power he has killed more oromos than even when Oromos were under TPLF.
The worst is yet to come when Abye stupidly trusts amhara and hands them most of the ENDF weapons you will be treated the way amhara used to treat you in the 1880s to 1974 worst than animals.

So its in the interst of OLA to work together with TDF and remove Abye and his amhara cohorts.

the party of abiy were/are the same people killing oromo's during tplf, so it's like, the more things change, the more they remain the same.
oromo cannot cooperate with a force they don't border. the amhara are in between us, geographically, the most that can happen is we both fight abiy's army at the same time to stretch their forces, but this is why eritrea sent forces to oromia.

The enemy of your enemy is your friend.
You can at least work together to weaken tour opponents.
Amhara are becoming powerful by the day and its just a matter of time before they dump Abye and his kinds and show their true colors.I dont think you will get a better treatment than what Tigrayans got.
Oromis,Gumuz and Tigrayans can coperate to weaken Abyes Amhara allies.

The problem oromos are not willing to die but are willing to be killed waiting for a better tommorrow.

Warya Absame, pick up the gun and start taking your land back. Tigray and Afar are already making claims of merging their states at the behest of Somali territory. You already know Cagjar is a Amhara prostitute promoting their interests above your own, you and cisse need to wake up before it's too late

Ethiopia is heading towards disintegration and violation of its sovereignty. The alternative is a consensual government because the center will lose its legitimacy. On the other hand the Amhara militias on which Abiy relays began to blow up bridges and the United Nations and relief agencies condemned this. there is possible scenario of the Ethiopian forces in Somalia withdrawing before the Somali elections from sector 3( Bay, Bakool and Gedo regions) at least a large part of them. Such a dramatic event will blow up the Ethiopian zone aka sector 3

Interesting take.

For me I think oromo shouldn’t waste this opportunity as both the Tigray and amhara are weak and Tigray has now vowed to make amhara pay. This is an opportunity for oromo to secure their control of Ethiopia.

Abey is oromo in name only, but servers amhara. Oromo need to get through to him or just remove him and install pro oromo man.

TDF now has 48 hours ultimatum for Amharas to withdraw the towns they occupied during the last assault. Now, the game get so interesting.
Abiye will trim Amhara nationalist who had been demanding more and more from Abiye. This time he won't be responsible any casualties between Tigre and Amhara as he did the withdrawal.

Mahoka, you were blocking the goalpost.
