Near by is Kurtunwareey a major stronghold for Al-Shabab. Towards Jilib is Haramka & Hawaay the former village & prison compound used to hold 77 war Ethiopian troops by the Somali republic. Before even reaching kismayo you will have to look out for Al-Shabab controlling both sides of the region from top to end.
