I never said I’m anything more than ignorant on the historical backdrop of these issues which you have extensive knowledge of. I will review the links you sent.
On another note though I have no idea that you came to the conclusion that I opposed your views. Yes from a historical context I have the typical Somali irredentism views that I was raised on but I’m realistic enough to realize that’s silly fools gold now. For that I didn’t begrudge you for speaking positively of this political representation step for Beesha.
Maybe you think this is some sort of backhanded sarcasm from me but I don’t play bullshyt games like that. If I agree with you I agree with you if not I don’t. I truly believe Somalia is dead so salvaging what we can in actual functioning countries like Ethiopia, Kenya is completely understandable.

That's still a problem Murax. Let's say someone else you liked was the president and Somalia had some hope of recovery, in that case are you saying mx should continue to suffer without representation and risk losing their land bit by bit? Why should we put ourselves in that situation? Everyone "hates" ethiopia but are happy benefit from it and use its system to their benefit. Only reason any of these guys care about this is they are worried they might lose the illegal benefits they had. Tbh I’m not even saying the way I felt was right or that it was based on logic because it wasn’t it was based on emotion. The whole Somaliweyn Ethiopian waa cadow blah blah is something that was passed on to many even myself to some extent.
That said I realize that mindset is foolish, and not based on reality. Forget DDSI I don’t even begrudge Somali regions to work with Ethiopia or at least not actively oppose them. Somali Gov, institutions, that were very slowly emerging under Farmaajo all got usurped by some criminal dog Culusow. It is my honest belief that under Culusow although he is by no means Somalia’s only problem, things reached the point of no return barring a miracle. I don’t bet on miracles.

I agree with you 100% Ethiopia historically has proudly been a nation priding itself on being a christian kingdom, who later was in a conflict with Somalis of which religion was a significant factor. That said the only possible solution you could bring is throwing our weight 100% behind a Somali State, but what is your solution since they’re isn’t one?
Btw if we’re talking religion let’s not forget it was Ethiopian Christians who have the Prophet SAW safe haven. Also if we’re being fair in terms of dealings having dealt extensively with both Ethiopians, Somalis; Ethiopians are far away better people.

Because Somalia is nothing today, it doesn't necessarily mean it will be nothing tomorrow.
The one thing Somalis have going for them is that we are a homogeneous ethnic group with an internationally recognised state possessing huge resources. Very few ethnic groups in Africa can claim this, perhaps Namibia and Angola come closest.
As a starting point.....we're not in too bad a shape.
Yes, right now we're in the shiit with no clear path out.
However, nothing remains the same, especially in a rapidly changing world. As Muslims we are optimistic.
