Kamal.. yeah I understand that.. I met a black lady in San Diego who said she was German... and really really the funnies thing was when I was in Thailand, I was in Hostel and these two guys come in,,, one black and one white, very close friends.. and I thought they were Americans but as they spoke, they talk in German... I was like, what the!... the black told me, he came to Germany when he was a kid and this is his childhood friend!!!... it was amazing walaahi

i will go to somalia when time is ripe inshallah.

but there is nothing for you in Somalia to go to!!!.. you aint got no family in the country, you aint raised to love the country!, you aint appreciating somalinsm... so why would go to Somalia?

i am not much of a traveller, if i would go somewhere it would be to relax. i am not interested in going anywhere just to 'meet new people' or 'do new things'. however, if i did have to go somewhere for another reason, then i would make the most of my time

yes.. but are you saying that laying on the beach, sipping cristal, looking at beautiful ladies, and having fun in an island is making life the best outta of it?.... are you implying that if I go and backpack thru europe or Asia, I aint making the best outta life?......

I would never ever go to Tahiti.. never.. itsnot my thing.. I prefer the hard way.. i wannt travel, sleep in hostels, meet people, hike, backpack, naturewalk.... I leave all the other idle stuff for the rich.. I aint rich, my parent have never been rich and my country is poor.. its politically wrong for me to go to Tahiti!!.. do you feel me

i feel ya, but the money issue should give u a reason 2 work harder. Allah allows us 2 live by our means, so if u can afford it, go for it!

one thing that i would never do is go travelling with an empty pocket. i dont have a problem with experiencing new things but i want to do it in style

yeah that is where we are different my friend..... people have different taste in alotta things.. it all depends on what you are interested in and not what you have in your pocket!!!... backpacking doesnot mean that you are always broke.. it means that you spend your money responsibily...

it also depends on who u r goin with. would u travel by urself?

I would never wanna go to somalia. Until I could go everywhere in there. I wanna visit hargeisa and the legendary street . I wanna go to bossaso and feel what it feels like to be in 120 fareheit 55-60 celsius degree whether. I wanna go to galkacyo and see geeljires and reer baadiye 3rd cousins. I wanna go to bulo burte and sit by weebi shabeela and see some crocodiles. I wanna go to jamaame and buy my uncles banana famr I wanna go to xamar and walk on jaziira beach I wanna go to zeylac and see its history, I wanna go to calmadow and chill on the scenic mountain top. Homer this is funny and lets see if I can understand. If someone isn’t born from Somalia you think that there is nothing there for them in Somalia?

I wasn’t born in Somalia. BUT yet I still want to visit it. In fact I can say the explain how my parents are not from there either. Both are from two different locations and I’m from a different location . Are you aware how many places Somalis come from? Somalia, Somaliland, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Kenya, Eritrea, Middle East, Europe, America, CANADA etc


Homer Somalis are REALLY nomadic and are all over the world. I think most Somalis would like to visit Somalia.
