Awoow, educate me as to how to take necessary steps/precautions to ensure that the recipient does not misuse. I am serious, apart from what I have already mentioned (taking their word for it), there is no other avenue for me to safegurd that money, but if there are other ways that you are aware of, I am all eyes, soo daa awoow

Surely it is not beyond human imagination to at least minimise the chances of misuse and abuse?

But I am trying to get to grips with the fundmental viewpoint expressed by yourself and agreed by Sandheer: that you should wash your hands of all responsibility of what happens to your money. I see no difference between that attitide and those who say I will let my bank invest my money the way they see fit without any gudelines from me.

Will you give a miskiin some money even if you were damn sure he will buy heroin with it?

I fundmaentally disagree with the principle here.

Walaalkaa maxaa kaa yaaibay ma runtaad diiday?

Your people are struggling to make ends meet. If they have to let some one fish in the ocean for few dollars so they can eat MUUFO, why not? That is their ALLAH given rights for being the citizens of that particular land. What is khayraad for any way? To sell it and get some money in return, right? I bet you these boats you saw in the LIIDO area aren’t fishing for free. I grantee you somebody is benefiting from it some how, and since there is no government to enforce rules and regulation, why not sister?

These guys are desperate and they will sell human meat if they have to on order to survive.

By the time these Mooryann get together and form legitimate government, that fish will be long dead.

First of all I am not that wealthy and I am not feeding a whole village, nor am I responsible of the miseries of a doomed nation. I do maintain my immediate family -who are not strangers, behaviorwise to me - and I know them like I know the palm of my hand, what tops that is, erratic remittances to friends, who call me when they are at an abysmal stage, and I don't think a $100 in once in a blue will do any harm to anyone and I ain't wasting my time enquiring about where that $100 ended up.

No I won't give a dime to a miskin who will use it for a dose of heroin, that is why my principle is never to give handouts to homelesses and bums here in the U.S.

Instead, I personaly take them to the nearby fast food resturants and serve them food.... There is always a way to feed the poor/misfortunate people without giving them more poison aka Jaad or daroogo... Very simple.

My intention is not to brag about saddaqa, but just to mention that there are always good ways to do the Saddaqa... I will never ever pay my money for Kaat.... Not only Kaat was not allowed in our house but no one has ever chewed qat in our house.....No offense intended to anybody... just stating facts....

Your masaakiin are better than ours! Here all you will get a grumble if you so much as suggest anything else except hrad cash or strong lager.

Ok I will let you off the hook Wadaad. It was the principle rather than the detail I was interested in.
