What is this everybody for himself attitude Rebel? Are you that selfish? Doesnt the suffering of other people bother you at all?
I am worried about Gandhi because I like old people and will really hate to see their grey white hairs and their wrinkly little skins and their osteoprosis brittle little bones sizzling in big holy fires.
How about you?

Agnostic,
If I destroyed your old car that was giving you a lot of trouble, thus eliminating your only form of transportation, but a week later you discovered I was a billionaire and I told you that you could buy ANY car you wanted every 2 years for as long as you lived, how much would you mourn the loss of your old car?
That is the same concept in Islam.........Allah can compensate the people who were unjustly killed, so that they forget their loss and the people who killed can be forgiven by God.
If that person who was killed unjustly receives eternal paradise as a result of his being killed, then I'm sure he/she could easily forget the mere losses of this world.
Conversely, someone who committed unspeakable crimes on this Earth would be punished:
"One of the people of Hell who found the most pleasure in the life of this world will be brought forth on the Day of Resurrection, and will be dipped into the Fire of Hell. Then he will be asked: O son of Aadam, have you ever seen anything good? Have you ever enjoyed any pleasure?" He will say, "No, by Allâh (swt), O Rabb"" (Muslim, Mishkât al-Masâbîh, 3/102).

Galol,
on that Day you won't give a damn about anybody.
"On the Day of Resurrection, Allâh will say to one whose punishment in the Fire is the lightest, "If you had whatever you wanted on earth, would you give it up to save yourself?" He will say, "Yes". Allâh (swt) will say, "I wanted less than that from you: when you were still in the loins of Aadam, I asked you not to associate anything in worship with Me, but you insisted on associating others in worship with Me"". (al-Bukhâri, in Kitâb ar-Raqâq, Bâb Sifât al-Jannah wan-Nâr, Fath al-Bâri, 11/416, See also Mishkât al-Masâbîh, 3/102)

What's most striking about the characteristic of Allah is that one never knows where one stands with him (the lowercase h is deliberate). That is to say that the criteria of entering heaven is so exceedingly high as to make it impossible for any, but a few to reach. Muslims constantly condemn non-believers to hell, but cannot categorically say whether they're entering heaven.
Indeed it was reported that the amir of the Muslims Abu Baker, once said to a man something along the lines of "O if only I knew whether one prayer (salat) of mine was accepted by Allah". He was explaining to someone that Allah doesn't except prayers that aren't performed perfectly (can one really perform his prayers perfectly with the devil supposedly distracting one at all times?).
So if the most sincere companion of the prophet was ill at ease concerning his final destination, where does that leave the lay man?
My contention is that one would've thought that god or Allah would want to ease the burden of his followers and make it relatively easy for them to love, accept and devote themselves to him, but instead he makes the path to Janna a near impossible for the average man (although the Quran says that "man was indeed created weak").

Galol,
I care for others and pary for them , but hereafter, son will not recognize his father and father will not recognize his son. Same with mother and son, husband and wife, brother and sister. Only thing we can do is to pray for others in this life. In afterhere we can do nothing for them or for ourselves.
As life in the heaven, my good Galol. Life will be so good in heaven that one would like to think of any thing relating to this world in the world after.
Second, we all be raise up in our young age. If a person dies very old he will be raised again as he was in his young age. This body, its desires of having wordly things terminates once the soul is separated. So, I am pretty sure you would come young in afterlife. My advice to you, don't be too attached with your old body

Agnostic,
Who or what deserves to go to heaven/hell is beyond your little head.......leave justice on that scale for God, cause you surely aren't capable of it. I think the history of man has shown us we're not capable of justice on such levels.
(sura maryam)
66. And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?"
67. Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing?
68. So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayâtin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees.
69. Then indeed We shall drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against the Most Beneficent (Allâh).
70. Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein.
71. There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished[].
72. Then We shall save those who use to fear Allâh and were dutiful to Him. And We shall leave the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) therein (humbled) to their knees (in Hell).

Greaat. I think I like the hereafter. It means I do not have to buy Playstations and designer shoes and pay extortionate school fees anymore!
DO you really think Allah can do such an evil thing? I mean you accept burning Gandhi is evil and subjecting people to cruelties so deep they will forget their loved ones is cruel is it not? Why would Allah the Merciful and the Compassionate do such a thing?

Oh really? Doesn’t Islam say that all non-believers are going to burn in hell? Were the victims of the nuclear attacks of Hiroshima & Nagasaki not predominantly non-Muslims? Were the 6 million victims of the Nazi holocaust also not non-Muslims? Do you mean to say that these non-Muslims are going to be let in to heaven, because that’s dramatically different to what one reads in the Quran?
Conversely, someone who committed unspeakable crimes on this Earth would be punished
Why then did that man whom Mohammed spoke of who murdered 100 innocent people let into heaven and spared punishment? Or is this another one of the innumerous contradictions in Islam?

agnostic,
NOBODY knows DEFINITIVELY who will go to hell or heaven. I am trying to tell you that Allah's justice is beyond our comprehension and you are trying to pass justice on Earth when you say X is going to hell and Y is going to heaven.
Know that many things APPEAR to be contradictions when they are beyond the grasp of your comprehension. How many times do you see a person learning a new subject say: "That doesn't make any sense!!"
It does make sense, only they can't grasp it.
The ultimate judgement for each and every person is only known to Allah.
But hearing what you say about Islam, I'm not convinced you were ever a Muslim, I don't even know if you're a Somali. You could be one of those crusaders who are out to spread misinformation about Islam. But be careful about learning about Islam for bad intentions:
SERIOUSLY read this aya and see if you fall into this category:
Verily, Allâh is not ashamed to set forth a parable even of a mosquito or so much more when it is bigger (or less when it is smaller) than it. And as for those who believe, they know that it is the Truth from their Lord, but as for those who disbelieve, they say: "What did Allâh intend by this parable?" By it He misleads many, and many He guides thereby. And He misleads thereby only those who are Al-Fâsiqûn (the rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).

You are a man of supreme taste and class.
Now answer the question please: Is it or is it not cruel to seperate fathers from children and fry old people for no other reason than having the `wrong' ideology?
Cool-man
So Gandhi will be beautified and made younger before thrown into hellfire? That is not cruel brother cool-man that is veritbaly focking sadistic! Istagfuruallh. The sun is shining at last I am out of here.
I am actually sad. I was hoping I will see the good side of alalh today. Instead he sounds even more scary: loose women chasing old men; cooking Gandhi; plastic surgeons from hell literally.
Subhanallah

Good Galol,
I don't see any cruel there. He created you and create the ideology he wants "you" to follow. If you don't you should be ready for the consequesces and be man instead crying out loud. Do your thing and accept the consequeses. What is so hard about that?
