However countries like Norway have saved there oil wealth created Social welfare programs for newcomers, elderly, disabled etc and have no debt. they continue to string their surplasses for the near future. So whats with this Secular gov't talk? Or do you think wadaado like Sheik indhacadde would bring about Social welfare programs for the general population? The Saudis did live before the age of oil (of course, so did we), but not with their current populations. The states on the Arabian peninsula, as well as Egypt, simply do not have enough water to sustain their populations. They need the oil revenues to compensate. The West is going to move away from oil as an energy source. We are starting to see that now. We have the technology to make the adjustment. When it happens, it will be as Rebel predicts, you will be wandering in the desert again, forgotten.

China kicked them out by signing a fair and a win-win contracts between Kino-Nigeria to explore petro-Natural gas for Indefinitely.

Nothing is what seems. Things aren't as the rosy pictures you have painted. If you scan beneath the surface with your eyes, you would learn about totally different facts. Bear in mind, there are cooked books meant to give false numbers of impressive outlooks. For instance, the US is duped as the "Land of Opportunity" and "American Dream", but it has $trillions in debt, $trillions in city/state/federal budget deficits, tens millions homeless, tens millions sans health coverage, aging infrastructures, roads, highways, expressways, etc. I know a few Somalis who have lived in Norway; I trust the facts they told me about there.

Let me add my two cents.

Norway is the most expensive country to live in. An average Norwigian has hundres of thousands in Student-loans,Mortgage loans,Paying the highest Income Tax and sales tax in the world.
Very few Norwigian have more than 20 thousand Dollars in their saving bank.

No wonder the worlds highest suicide rate by countries are corrently held by stupid Scandianvians.

The oil isn't going to last 50 more years. We are close to our peak production now. Necessity is the mother of invention, as I am sure you realize. Prices of fuel will continue to rise. As they do, more and more buisinesses will find a way to exploit that be developing alternative engery sources which will be more and more saleable. In about 30 years, the revenues from fuel will drop across the board, because the massive reserves will be tapped out. In 50 years, the Saudis won't have any oil to sell and that will be that.

For you Islamists out there. Do you have any evidence that assholes running "Islamic" governments are more concerned about their populations well being that those governments which are not Islamist? Their record on human rights is, how shall Ii say this, an abomination. I find it difficult to believe that they are suddenly going to become great humanitarians.
