I don't and I can't speak for Somali women as a whole. But I will certainly pick my future husbands qabil. You see the ppl I predominately associate with include the few xawaadles in my town :lol: dhulbahantos and ogadeens. lol My future husband will be from the above qabils. Qabils like mareexaan and Isaaq ( who I am forced to associate with because of family connections) I tend to stay far far from them. So your rule of thumb is thrown out of the window it doesnt apply to moi!

Qaldaan = Isaaq (?)

Faqash = Daarood (?)

I might have those two reversed!

Mooryaan = Hawiye

is the only one I'm sure about now
