Lool @ Mac; mate you should just convert

Hijab and prayer are on two different leagues; some ppl even say your sawm is not valid unless you pray and wear the hijab; which doesnÂ’t make sense at all coz its places a barrier for many ppl. Hijab is waajib but its not a pillar. Prayer is naturally more important and so is sawm; but Islam is a package, you canÂ’t leave some forms and take others; youÂ’re picking and choosing.

‘I am not ready’ notion does make sense coz of our context; but from an early stage children should be socialized into an Islamic framework, and that’s where a parent’s role comes in. As mother you need to teach as well as enforce certain things upon your daughter, many ppl don’t see the point in kids wearing the hijab, but puberty is a crucial point in developing and practising the diin; you have the choice to either drop everything you was told to do from childhood or learn to develop it further to perfection…that’s when your free will kicks in, but it be sound to have some background knowledge to base your choice on.
A girlÂ’s first knowledge is gained from the mother, but if you think donÂ’t tell your daughter to wear the hijab and let her figure out later on when, then no wonder sheÂ’ll say 'am not readyÂ’ at the age 30.

Btw you enforce everything on children, from what to eat to when to sleep, so they can be prepared later on; children without structure go wrong Lol

Next to individual iman, a mother will be questioned on how she brought up her children on qiyam.

I am proud to say that i wear a hijab! i will never enforce my child to wear a hijab first i would teach her about Islam and tell her why we wear the hijab and then when she reaches a certain age i would expect her to wear it. A girl should start covering her body at puberty, as this is the time her body organs and parts are starting to form.
The Quran says that a woman should not expose her body. We are taught that even a show of oneÂ’s hair would subject her to harsh judgment by God
but not all Muslim women wear a hijab???
No. This is because perhaps it was not emphasised during their childhood or their parents are not strict followers of the teachings of Quran. But nobody forces you to wear it. It depends on oneÂ’s background and environment.

Some people do not have the deep meaning of the teaching of the Quran, or by choice have just decided to go against them. Some are simply influenced by their environment or the pressure to fit in with their peers. But I am sure it is the hijab that makes the difference between a Muslim and non-Muslim woman

someone asked hijab was a cultural or a religious thing?

well I can say that it is all of the above. But I must say that it is based on culture and religion. Hijab is the symbol of a Muslim woman, regardless of oneÂ’s tribe or race.

Chilli
Then explain why Mohammed did not instruct people to have their young girls wear hijab to prepare them for when they are older. Fact is, during Mohammed's time, little girls DID NOT wear hijab. Now you are saying they should. Why, if it is a good idea, did the Prophet not mandate it back in the day?

If a woman prays and does not wear hijab, something is wrong with her prayer.
Sign of accepted prayer is that it blocks other evils. If you pray and don't wear hijab, you really need to look into your prayer. It may be below standard acceptable to Allah( and I said may be).

The Rasul(peace be upon him) said:

"A women who reveals her body or even wears tight
fitting clothes wont come within 500 years of the smell of Jannah."

Islam is a complete package you can't just pick and choose like the way the Christians and Jews do. If you pray and don't wear Hijaab that basically is incomplete same as the other way around wearing Hijaab but not praying. Remember Hijaab is not recommended thing to do rather it is compulsory up on every Muslimah to wear it no matter what race she is. The only way a person can distinguish between a Muslimah lady/woman and a Kaffir lady/women is the Hijaab.
=

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayra (Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said:

“There are two types of the people of Hell whom I have not seen: People with whips like the tails of cattle, with which they beat the people, and women who are clothed YET NAKED, inciting men and their heads looking like the humps of camels, leaning to one side. They will not enter paradise and even smell it’s fragrance, even though it’s fragrance can be detected from such and such a distance.” (Sahih Muslim, no. 2218)

"Clothed yet naked" is referring to those who wear Hijaab but yet with tight pants almost could see the figure and the dirac which is loose showing nakedness.

==
Hijaab is not just covering the head. Hijaab comes with behavior Adab and Aqlaaq. Hijaab is everything covered head to toe except hands and face and that is how a dignified Muslimah suppose to be...not the modern type the way the act and behave.
==

“Whosoever dresses himself out of pride in this world, Allah will dress him/her with the same clothing on the day of Qiyamah and he/she will be entered in to Hell.” (Sunan Ibn Majah)

You primative, moronic savage. You think what you wear is important to God? WTF? How can anyone be so focking stupid? Jesus H. Christ, the level of ignorance displayed by those who think they have a focking clue as to what God wants is amazing.

What's the old saying? "I don't have a problem with God, it's his fan club I can't stand."

Yaa Kaafir,

It distinguish a free (non slave) dignified believer to guard her modesty against the impure undignified non believers kaafirs infested lifestyle.

Any Muslim women who don't follow that code of dressing is simply undignified impure.
