Cawar, great. It'll be even better next time hopefully. If you did the raisin/onion thing it should take out some of the taste of the salt. I don't know if that's a Somali thing? I've only seen my mom and her sister do it.

Yeah Hannah, my aunt makes raisins on the side too.

Sugar also helps get rid of too much salt.

I dunno who majiraan are. One of my aunts married an isaaq dude back in the 70s but it was a short-lived union (mainly because granddad gave her hell for it, as he did for the one that married into hawiye). She has a couple of kids my age.
