In 2003, CabdiQassim sent some of Ina Caydiid's abtiyaal to talk to him to see if he would be willing to join his government. They were supposed to meet near the Port when Ina Caydiid realized that his abtiyaal set up for an ambush. He was lightly protected by only 3 techniko & did NOT inform the Sacad of what he was doing.

He and his staff managed to fend off a wave of Cayr attackers for several hours as he got back up from AbdiQeybdiid who was the Chief of Police at the time, Xildiban Xaaf, Cisman Caato & several other Sacad leaders.

The Salemaan who were near by sent a car to pick him up & offered to put him on a ship to take him out of Xamar. Ina Caydiid refused and said he didn't want to go down in history as the man who fled Xamar in a boat.

The Sacad forces came through in a strong offense never seen by the Cayr. They cleared a path through the rubble and surrounded the Cayr and inflicted a punishing defeat.

It was the 1st Battle of 3 the Sacad fought the Cayr.

Qeybdiid stood his ground and lost which occurs in war. Unlike Afbiijo who fights the demons in his head and depends on sixiirooles from BAari to make decisions, Qeybdiid was attacked and he defended himself. Nothing shameful about that.

Afbiijo is the one who fled Jowhar for no reason besides his sixiiroole telling him something bad was happening. AfBiijo is the one who spends the night in Goodey instead of Baidoa after each bomb scare or attack.

Xoogsade. Yalaxow was not involved. Adeer Qeybdiid personally went to CabdiQassim and told him to call off the Cayr attackers. Cabdiqassim laughed at him and said "I will hand over Ina Caydiid when he is captured to a group of Sacad elders who promise that he will behave." Qeybdiid laughed back and said you will see what happens and both he and Xaaf was also there sent their techniko to the fight.

Plus why didn't Barre Hiiraale think about not sending young men from Kismayo to die needlessly in fighting the Isbaheysiga on behalf of the wadaads. Or was the Cayr love still in the air

that had me laughing. I remember when we had to evacuate our villa in Xamar and returned a few days later to pick personal belongings and the first missing thing that we noticed that was missing were the kitchen/bathroom tiles I really couldn't fathom their mentality, why the kitchen/bathroom tiles?

Ashlee, allegiance to Islam is not tantamount to the pick-and-choose approach of Christianity. You cannot at one point declare your unconditional allegiance to Islam and at another point reveal your old habitual-self.
