If they are short of ammunition and food, and are outnumbered, as you suggest, the jig is up and they need to withdraw to Buale, or even Jilib, to regroup.
I wish I could get accurate counts of who has what soldiers where.
Who is currently in control of Oddur? Do you know? Haven't heard a peep about it, but if the TFG still controls Oddur and Gedo (and we know they control Gedo) then Ethiopia can, and probably is, moving ground supply convoys to Baidoa via their base at Dolo. Long, arduous convoy, to be sure. But it's doable if that route is relatively secure.
Xoogsade,
One simple question how , since Mareexaan live in galgaduud and Gedo and don't live anywhere between those 2 provinces a and these 2 provinces are sperated by (Bay, Bakool, Hiiraan) how did you get there were you airlifted or your camesl were parachuted?
In February 1917, Barrett moved into the Lorian region with a patrol to expropriate Aulihan livestock. Accompanied by 30 men from the Camel Corps and 30 mounted-infantry, he then proceeded towards Marehan country from Wajir to Elwak.

More importantly, this inability to control the Marehan illustrated just how little control the colonial state exercised on the northeast frontier. This example of Somali resistance certainly would make the British think twice about imposing their dictates in the northeast for some years to come.
you're talking about Gedo and we are talking about stopping English colonialization in KENYA

just look close to this map. like you maybe know the courts already captured diinsoor and if you look at the map you can see that diinsoor is not that far from bardheere if they sucdeed to capture bardheere than they only have to go via bardheere to garbaharrey than to luuq and than to dolow where the habaashiis control it. if they do that than the warlords of baydhaboi will be surrendoud and inshallah they will liberate ferfer huddur and tiyeglow.

Xplaya, you are a walking historian on the Darood. Consider writing a book saxiib

Gedo is completely under the control of the federal government. not only Dolow but our allies have also been entering from Beledxawo and Luuq districts. and yes Xudur is also held by government forces.
BTW not only are they out-numbered and out-gunned but theres low morale amongst the average foot soldier.

you do know that before we came down south Mareexaan lived in Sanaag right?......... so in going with your logic how is it possible that we ended up in Galgaduud, Gedo, Jubbooyinka, Kelinka 5naad?
