GedoBoy,
Hiiraale was warlord. Therefore, deposing him was justified. Same was done to other warlords
Except for IndhaCadde, right?
Let's hold the ICU to their OWN stated goals in Xamar. They even contradicted their own stated goals.
Recriminating doesn't explain away the inadequacies of your reasoning.
Again, Hiiraale was/is a WARLORD. Why are you supporting him?
WHAT IS/WAS TH ICU's BIGGEST MISTAKE

Biggest mistake was letting Indocadde and Aweys into the upper echelons of the Courts. Indocadde is a qabilist warlord, and Aweys is a arab oving terrorist. By having these two in thier organization, they undermined the trust of the Somali people and therefor became a organization you coudn't possibly support unless you were an Ceyr.
dhuusa_dheer,
Let me tell you this. If Hiiraale joined the Warlords in Xamar when they were attacking the local Courts, I would not have supported him. I was rooting for the ICU when they were attacked in Xamar because it was clear who initiated hostilities. I thought they were going to stick to their stated goals of stabilizing Xamar as a means to allow national reconciliaton w/ the TFG.
But if they scrap their goals after the Xamar takeover and undertake something they stated they would not do, I think that is a betrayal of people's trust.
By having IndhaCadde in their ranks, they proved they were willing to work with 'warlords'. So attacking Hiiraale just because 'he was a warlord' is not enough justification.
Considering the Shabelles are on their way to Kismayo, if they attacked IndhaCadde with as much enthusiasm, I would have at least seen that they were even in their attacks. Even then, I would have preferred they wait until they are attacked/provoked so as not to appear the aggressors.
IndhaCadde's rap sheet is 20 X as diabolical as Hiiraale's.
Since Hiiraale did not attack them and was neutral, instead of seeking to establish some sort of agreement or neogtiations, they attacked him in broad daylight at the urging of IndhaCadde who had a personal vendetta against him.
Believe it or not, IndhaCadde is the one who organized the attack of Kismayo, and he did it due to personal vendetta against Hiiraale.
And since IndhaCadde is a Warlord, what suddenly propelled him to 'Security Chief' of the ICU overnight after being the most sinister warlord?

1. Not enough effort to persuade Sacad! Which turned majority of Sacad against them as a result become their worst nightmare (inter-habar gidir affairs)
2. Failure to capture and execute warlords like Cabdi Qeybiid as he left xamar in “indho Shareer” or niqaab if you like
3. Maybe, over confidence which lead to Indha caddes 7 day Ultimatum .
And if you asked me I would have made Sheikh Shariif the leader and other Honest and respectable men alike.
Other matters like that of kismaayo and everything else was correct for their own reasons. Maybe in a slower pace they would have had more time to think ahead
UIC HERO's and the closest Somalia ever came to UNITY since the collaps of Siyaadbarre!
