I'll give Saddam one thing, he was courageous.
However, I think he also suffered from grandiosity.
If I ever was in his position, I hope I would punish anybody who ever built a statue for me.
Secondly, I would have have exiled, jailed or murdered sons like the one he had, I think (Uday the taller one).
I would make sure my people ate before I built palaces.
At least build beautiful Universities or Hospitals

Who ever kills an innocent Muslim in an unjustly way will NEVER be forgiven.
How many millions innocent Muslims had Saddam killed in order to defend his Arab socialism ideology?

And need I remind you, the USA is not at war with Islam, Islam is at war with the USA. It is militant Islam that is attacking the non-Muslim world and caused this backlash, not the other way around. If Muslims would stop with the non-state violence, the US and everyone else would leave them alone. You could have Shari'a and anything else you wanted.

Oh well, it's spilled milk at this point. You know, at least we're rid of him. He was getting annoying. I was sick of seeing trial clips on the news. Now we can move on to some real warfare again. You are gonna want to be a part of it. Get in on the ground floor.
